2. Description of Service

Sophlow is an AI-powered platform that helps software engineers practice system design interviews. It provides an interactive canvas for drawing architectures, a text interface for explaining design decisions, and an AI-generated evaluation with scores and critique across multiple rubric dimensions. The Service is provided on an “as-is” basis and subject to change without notice.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Sophlow, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Account Registration

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at hello@tinkernlabs.com.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Service in bulk without written consent.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use the Service to generate, distribute, or promote harmful, defamatory, or abusive content.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, software, design, logos, and trademarks on the Service are owned by or licensed to TinKern Labs and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service solely for your personal, non-commercial practice purposes. You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g., your diagrams and explanations). By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to process and store it for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Payments and Subscriptions

Certain features of the Service may be available on a paid subscription basis. All pricing is displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise specified. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees. Please refer to our Refund Policy for information on refunds and cancellations.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific outcome (such as success in a job interview) will result from using it. AI-generated feedback is for practice purposes only and does not constitute professional advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TinKern Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Service, our users, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email to registered users. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules thereunder. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Prior to initiating any legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes in good faith through direct negotiation for a period of 30 days.
